The conservative activist who played “ho” to James O’Keefe’s “pimp” last year in a hidden-camera expose of activist group ACORN expressed “shock” yesterday over O’Keefe’s arrest for trespassing in a US senator’s office.
“I’m well aware that following the law is an integral part of being a good investigative journalist. I take that responsibility and accountability very seriously,” said Hannah Giles, who posed as a hooker to help O’Keefe videotape ACORN workers offering advice on running a prostitution ring.
She said she hoped reports of O’Keefe’s arrest were “untrue.”
O’Keefe, 25, and three other men are charged with entering federal property under false pretenses with intent to commit a felony for appearing in the New Orleans office of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) posing as telephone repair workers.
