The Panties Pool You’ve seen those office pools they do for football games, right? It’s a grid of boxes, with 0-9 going down and 0-9 going across. Then people write their names inside the boxes and then one set of numbers is for one team, and one is for the other. So, say, at the end of the first quarter, the score is 10 – 7, the Saints, then you would go to that square, and that person would win. You can do the same. But instead of putting in names in the squares, you put SEX ACTS. So, whoever wins, REALLY wins. And it’s up to you to be as nice or as naughty as you want.
You can have the prizes be anything your little heart desires. From kissing to an erotic massage, he owes you oral sex. From you wearing THAT school girl outfit, to him doing THAT dance he does naked. (Um, whatever you two do…)

Im not going to split hairs here prostitution and trafficking are two different animals, but they both victimize women and involve sexual slavery and abuse so if Im making them sound like they are the same thing; its because basically they are. To give you an example of how much money is generated in an average city, Ive taken the liberty of scrolling through the erotic services section of one of the two big boards online. On an average day, there is $285,600 in potential sales for each of these boards alone. How did I come up with this number? Well; a 1 hour session with an escort ranges from $280-$300. There were 37 young women offering their services; you do the math. Remember this is only one board and does not take into account, street prostitution, common bawdy houses, massage parlors, trick pads, escort agencies, pornographic studios etc. Pimps routinely take $300-$1500 per day from each of their prostitutes. Are you starting to get the picture? Lets dispel one of the big myths surrounding all prostitution right now.

Would legalizing the world’s oldest profession stop “massage parlors“.Wikimedia public domain
On November 13th, Covington, LA police arrested three women for allegedly running a prostitution ring out of a massage parlor on U.S. 190.  This is just the latest in a string of ongoing investigations and recent arrests of prostitutes working in “massage parlors” from Pennsylvania to Arizona.  Professional massage therapists, who are often affected by this negative publicity as prostitutes use legitimate massage as a front for sex services, are expressing their opinions on this seemingly never ending problem. In reviewing the dozens of responses received one thing is evident: The majority of massage therapists who responded agree that legalizing prostitution should be considered as a way to stop illegal businesses from using legitimate massage as a front for sex.
All names below have been changed to protect the privacy of the respondents.

VB: As an aside, I’m curious: how do you think this all relates to the client fairytale-fantasy of having their sex worker fall in love with them and “leave the life for true love”?
DHS: “Sir Save-A-Ho,” is one variation on that theme. It’s a story in the book by a very gifted writer and filmmaker, Juliana Piccillo, about this very subject. In it, a vice cop kind of tries to save her when she’s a 17-year-old massage parlor girl. But yes, those Julia Roberts/Richard Gere/Pretty Woman fairy tales are so powerful. If anything, I’m afraid this book might make clients realize how profoundly these industrial sex technicians just want to get P-A-I-D. As my employment counselor/pimp used to say to me, the three most important rules of the world of sex for money are: 1) Get the money up front; 2) Get The Money Up Front!; and 3) GET THE MONEY UP FRONT!!!
