New Orleans Adult Entertainment: Let’s Make This Rick Perry-Bobby Jindal Bet Interesting, For Chrissake
June 26, 2009
The Texas Longhorns are playing the LSU Tigers in the College World Series, and that can mean only one thing: an entirely dull press release announcing some stupid bet between the governors of the respective states.
And voila!! Rick Perry’s putting up Texas barbecue, Bobby Jindal is putting up seafood, and they bothzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Barbecue vs. seafood? This is the best they can do? We think not. Here are some bets that might really be worth talking about.
1. The internet was abuzz two years ago when Louisiana’s US Senator David Vitter got caught up in a call-girl scandal that at one point involved charges that he, ummm, liked to wear diapers. Now, come on: when it comes to bets, you can’t beat that. Losing governor gets Vitter’s diapers. (We assume they’re in evidence somewhere.) If it’s a sweep, losing governor wears Vitter’s diapers. Call girls optional.

Megan Fox Talks Jonah Hex
6/25/2009 2:20 PM EST
Source: MTV News
Megan Fox recently spoke with MTV news about the upcoming Warner Bros. film, “Jonah Hex”, in which she will be starring.
Fox told MTV, “That movie is gonna be amazing. Its a post-civil war, apocalyptic type Western. The director Jimmy [Hayward] is a lunatic, and he might be a genius. From some of the things I’ve seen him shoot, it’s a badass movie.”
She also discussed, specifically, her character, which has undergone some name changes along the way. It’s Leila now. She is a prostitute. She’s a good ol’ working girl, and she’s a love-interest to Jonah… of sorts. I mean, it’s by no means a classic type of relationship.”
Fox is also rumored to be involved with a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” film. Roy Lee, producer of the film, stated, “The rumors of Megan Fox being involved with Buffy are just rumors. As with any film project wit …

New Orleans Adult Entertainment: GOP Hopes To Pick Up House Seat If Melancon Runs For Senate
June 22, 2009
If Rep. Charlie Melancon (D-LA) does end up running for Senate against GOP incumbent David Vitter — pitting a relatively conservative Democrat against a Christian Right champion whose career became mired in the D.C. Madam prostitution scandal of 2007 — it could be good news for the Republicans in at least one respect. That is, the GOP feels pretty good that they can pick up Melancon’s open district.
“It is one of the few districts in the country that actually trended more Republican last cycle,” a Republican source told us. The district voted 61%-37% for John McCain in 2008, up from 58%-41% for George W. Bush in 2004.
The national GOP had been aiming to soften up Melancon for a challenge in his seat for 2010, anyway — for example, he was the target of recent radio ads. If the seat opens up, and there is no Democrat with the advantage of incumbency, Republicans will see it as a ripe opportunity for a pick-up. “The fact is that Charlie Melancon was intimidated into running for the Senate,” the source boasted. “He saw the writing on the wall and reconsidered the DSCC’s offer.”

… I don’t know that I could have asked for a better turnout,” Sasso said.
Major turnaround
Stephen literally is a different child today. Gone is the cherub face with the chubby ruddy cheeks and blond hair. He is a well-behaved teenager who stands a stout 5-feet, 10-inches tall. The blond locks have given way to brunette, but the bright blue eyes are still the same. He is shy and soft-spoken around strangers, but Sasso assures that he is a regular chatterbox around friends and family.
Sasso was not always confident that Stephen’s future would be so easy-going. Life with his father, Paul Crawford, had been brutal. Before he was dumped, Stephen endured physical abuse and malnourishment. Crawford and his then-girlfriend, Samantha McCarthy, sold prescription drugs and dabbled in home-based prostitution, often locking Stephen out of the house for hours while they entertained tricks.
Business savvy youth leaves no stone unturned
As the end of the school year officially approached, the search for summer employment began for many New Orleans youth. Bridgeja’ Baker, however, is ahead of the game.
The 11-year-old entrepreneur is already hard at work, preparing for the opportunity some adult business owners only dream of.
Baker, a Lake Castle Private School 7th grader, is the proprietor of Creative Jewelry by Bridgeja’, LLC, which is a line of distinctive jewelry that combines fine crystals and gemstones.
So distinctive that her work will be showcased for locals and visitors on hand for this year’s ultimate party weekend, for Baker has been chosen as a vendor at the Essence Marketplace & Art Expo 2009.
Baker, whose creations take anywhere from 35 to 45 minutes to complete and include key chains and beaded bookmarks; all priced from $6.50 to $200.00, plans to make a few pieces on site during the expo, which will be held July 3-5 in the Morial Convention Center.
But the place I had to check out for the first time – a pilgrimage of sorts, really – was the Stonewall Inn on Christopher St., originally built in 1843 as stables, and which never was a hotel. The Stonewall was gutted by fire in the 1960s, then reopened on March 18, 1967, as the Stonewall, site of the famed Stonewall riots of 1969 that ignited the modern-day gay-civil-rights movement.
Except we’ve been mixing up myth and facts behind Stonewall for 40 years. Critically-acclaimed author David Carter in his must-read book STONEWALL: The Riots that Sparked the Gay Revolution claims that prior to the raid on the Stonewall Interpol uncovered the theft of negotiated bonds which were turning up on the streets of Europe. The bonds were being stolen by gay Wall St. employees who were victims of a blackmail operation run by Stonewall Inn manager Ed Murphy.
Murphy, in spite of having been previously arrested for running an extensive national blackmail ring based on homosexual prostitution, had never been to jail because he had incriminating photographs of one of the prostitution ring’s most prominent customers, then-FBI head honcho J. Edgar Hoover.

The statements don’t detail her reasons for opposing the public option, but Landrieu said in a June 9 Huffington Post story that she worries the public option “really undermines the essence of our efforts to create a real market-based private sector model.” Opponents of the public option, including Republicans and some conservative Democrats have said they fear it will provide too much competition for private insurers and could lead to a completely government-run health system.
Hudson said in an interview Wednesday that he was recruited by Change Congress for the campaign critical of Landrieu after he signed an on-line petition the group is sponsoring. Change Congress is a watchdog group on campaign finance law.
Hudson, meanwhile, says he’s no longer part of the movement that led Daniels to consider a run next year against Vitter and therefore doesn’t wish to comment on it.
He did confirm earlier reports that he and his friends placed an ad on Craigslist months ago seeking an adult entertainer to run against Vitter, who admitted in 2007 to a “serious sin” after his phone number appeared in the records of a Washington prostitution ring.
Bubrig and her son went to the Siesta Motel at 5353 West Bank Expressway in Marrero on Friday, where she bought crack cocaine and spent several days smoking it, according to a Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office arrest report. The child somehow ingested some of the drug.
Deputies came to the room because Bubrig was wanted on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. They noticed her son “reeked of a foul odor” and was filthy, according to the report.
The child was taken to Oschner Medical Center-West Bank, where doctors discovered he had eczema and had not had his medication for several days. During the examination, doctors also found cocaine in the child’s system after a urine test, according to the report.
The child’s condition and whereabouts were not available late Wednesday.
Bubrig, who has a previous conviction for unauthorized use of a movable, was on probation at the time of her arrest.
The motel is known as a hot spot for narcotics activity and prostitution, according to the arrest report.
A lot of clients attributed Deep Blue’s popularity to the fact that Haddy had some very strict rules, quidelines, and regulations when it came to her girls. For one, she insisted that the girls bathe on a daily basis, whether they felt that they needed to or not.
Haddy also made it a habit to never hire a girl who had a tattoo (EDITOR’S NOTE: Of course back then, it was virtually unheard of for a woman to have a tattoo, and only the most hardcore of whores had them and then it was a little flower the size of a dime which was on an extremely intimate part of her body, that no one but a ‘customer’ would ever see…boy oh boy have things changed).
Another one of Haddy’s requirements was that her ‘Girls’ had to absolutely keep their underarm hair neatly trimmed at all times. No exceptions!
Film director Clint Eastwood asked several of his friends to appear in cameo roles as ‘Customers’ of the brothel and everyone of them agreed.
Kenner man arrested for soliciting sex in undercover sting
by The Times-Picayune Friday June 05, 2009, 2:22 PM
A Kenner man was arrested when he arrived to meet what he believed was an underage girl he had been chatting with online, but was actually an undercover detective, authorities said.
Police say that at the same time William Powe Jr., 55, was chatting with the Kenner detective he was conducting sexually explicit chats with a Calcasieu Parish detective posing as a 15-year-old girl.
The Kenner investigation began May 19 when, using the screen name, “bud4er2,” Powe contacted the “girl” and invited her to view him masturbating on his webcam, Detective Brian McGregor, Kenner Police Department spokesman said.
Powe asked to meet her in Kenner for sex and was arrested when he arrived at the prearranged location Tuesday, McGregor said. Kenner police will conduct a forensic exam on his computer.
